Vin Lowe

Vin Lowe spends too much time at the races. If you could ‘google earth’ his movements over his lifetime you’d notice tracks extending from racecourse to racecourse where he usually carries a camera to record fuzzy images of his favorite horses. These he uploads to his website www.racingaustralia.net for people to get eye strain over as they try to work out if it is them or the pictures which are out of focus. Vin also manages the popular Racing Australia Community Bulletin Board called Turf Talk which has hundreds of members – some of whom have got together to race a few horses – including Group 1 winner Douro Valley. Vin’s full-time job is looking for a full-time job; he was baptized a St Kilda fan and is now waiting for the jips to set in – as they always do. In another life Vin worked for a well known racing club and was lucky enough to meet and make friends with thousands of great racing people. And some of them were nearly as nice as the horses.
