NRL Betting: Stormy weather for Broncos and Dragons
In this week's NRL battle up North, Matt Adamson is going the underdog in an upset, while down South it's another set of Dogs he's backing.
Queensland Clash
As strange as it sounds, this fixture is like having two Origins in a matter of days.
With so many stars set to back up from Wednesday night's game, and the rivalry that exists between both Queensland sides, get ready for some fireworks.
Much to their dismay, the Cowboys have long been regarded as the little brother of the North when compared to the Broncos, but as recent history will show us, the underdog tag here is strong when picking the winner.
This game is set to come down to the all the things that make our game great.
Game plans and structures along with physical preparation are out the window.
It's all about who wants it more. Passion and desire, to go with a bit of 'mate vs mate,' give us everything we're after when looking for yet another classic Friday night encounter.
The Cowboys to salute in an upset is my tip, which will provide great value for the Betfair punters.

Dogs are barking
To look at the ladder and see the Dogs sitting in third place genuinely gave a shock.
Their form has hardly been anything earth shattering and I haven't yet heard anyone of note rate them as a serious contender.
In saying all of that, we knew Des Hasler's impact on the club would be strong and it has resulted in on-field success sooner than many of the experts expected.
The outstanding work rate of the Dogs, coupled with the brilliance of fullback Ben Barba, seems to me the reason they find themselves in this fruitful position. Barba's meteoric rise hasn't gone unnoticed and has seen him rewarded with a call up into the Queensland squad for Game Two.
The Dragons appear gone, and when I say that I mean no disrespect to Steve Price and his men, but the way it looks to me is that this squad is coming off three tough but ultimately successful years under the tutelage of Wayne Bennett. His departure has seen a few key members of the squad take their foot off the pedal, sit back and get a little too comfortable.
I'm tipping Des and his merry men to grind away and get the points in this one.

Wet weather
Like a good judge should, Betfair punters I implore you to look at the form.
Some teams love the wet weather and there are some that just can't stand it. Most importantly, look to see if a side has a strong kicking game as this plays a huge part in winning in these conditions.
