Golf Betting: By Scott, he's looking the Open goods

Mark Allen brings you an update of the Open, where he finds Brant Snedeker leading Adam Scott by a shot and Tiger not far away in third place...

We still haven't seen any wind of note at this year's Open Championship, but the bad weather has to be coming and that's going to test everyone.

Scotty looks the goods to me. He's swinging well and looks comfortable with the broomstick putter.

I think you might want to put a saver on him at decent halfway Betfair odds of (4.20).

I still think the weather will test Tiger if it comes. That will mean the 'irons off most tees' approach will go out the window and he will be forced to face his demons with the driver in his hands.

He's  @ Betfair odds of (4.20) as well, but I see Adam as the better value.

Ernie Els looks temping at seven shots back and  Betfair odds of (40.0) . If you're looking for value he could be a factor by Sunday.

You can lay the leader Brant Snedeker @ Betfair odds of (6.20)  and I think that's a smart move. I just don't see him as a Open Champion...not yet anyway.
