Dominic Beirne turns his attention west to Perth this weekend where the WATC Derby highlights a great day of racing at Ascot.

In the Derby, Beirne notes that two runs ago, Flashy Fella ($6.60) beat home Ethiopia and Hoylonny who line up in the Australian Derby and tips the Michael Moroney-trained gelding on top.

Miss Solis (2.80) placed third in the Group Two Karrakatta Plate a fortnight ago and Dominic Beirne thinks there is a strong case for her to take up the running in the WATC Sires' Produce tomorrow, considering her excellent value at current odds.
