Horse Betting: Nine for International at York

Frankel will be joined by his regular lead horse Bullet Train and another Cecil inmate Twice Over, which won the International last year.

The Juddmonte International at York on Wednesday sees Frankel face just eight competitors...

Frankel, rated as the best horse in Timeform's history, has dominated the mile division, but trainer Sir Henry Cecil makes the switch up in trip as the unbeaten Galileo colt goes for a 13th successive victory.

He will be joined by his regular lead horse Bullet Train and another Cecil inmate Twice Over, which won the International last year.

Aidan O'Brien also fields three runners, headed by Coronation Cup hero St Nicholas Abbey, which is dropping back in trip from a mile and a half.

Outsiders Windsor Palace and Robin Hood also run for the Ballydoyle team.

Godolphin's Farhh chased home Frankel at Goodwood last time and he is set to take his chance again, although trainer Saeed bin Suroor has warned he will only run if the ground is suitable.

Marco Botti's Planteur and the Roger Varian-trained Sri Putra complete the line-up, with Coral-Eclipse winner Nathaniel the only horse to have been taken out.

Timeform weight-adjusted ratings
156 Frankel
139 St Nicholas Abbey
139 Farhh
133 Twice Over
131 Planteur
130 Sri Putra
122 Bullet Train
116 Windsor Palace
