Horse Betting: Dynamics to have maiden win
The son of O’reilly will get back, and under the guidance of Nick Souquet will ideally find cover from barrier 11.
In his fourth run back from a spell, Timeform's Gary Crispe believes Dynamics looks poised to post a first-career success when contesting the Wodonga M'ship Just $90 Mdn.
The O'Reilly gelding has been knocking on the door of a maiden victory in three starts since arriving at the Wagga stable, with his latest outing a narrow second on the Canberra Acton track 10 days ago.
Dynamics on that occasion settled at the tail of the field and worked home in most encouraging fashion.
Each of his runs this campaign has contained plenty of merit and indicate the Tim Donnelly-trained gelding is crying out for the 1400m on offer at Wodonga today.
Formerly trained by Robert Hickmott for prominent owner Lloyd Williams, Dynamics possesses a peak Timeform figure of 76, run when finishing fifth in a Sandown mid-weeker earlier this year.
Dynamics has been well shy of that rating so far this campaign although his peak Timeform figure of 63 should be enough to see the gelding highly-competitive here. Fourth-up and rising to 1400m, improvement on this rating is expected.
The son of O'reilly will get back, and under the guidance of Nick Souquet will ideally find cover from barrier 11.
Expect Dynamics to be hitting the line strongly late with what hopefully will be a perfectly timed run on his way to an elusive maiden success.
Outside of Timeform figures, Dynamic possesses the right sort of jockey/trainer combination. Tim Donnelly's small stable is coming off a 2011/12 season where they enjoyed a winning success rate of 25%, and jockey Nick Souquet rides at a success rate of 15% at Wodonga.
The likes of Musician, Our Lucky Day and Fille the Joy loom as the horses most likely to pose any sort of challenge to Dynamics.
Each will be required to lift noticeably on their latest ratings. However, Our Lucky Day and Fille The Joy should should be fitter and ready to show something a bit more second-up over further.
