The Dragons continue to lead the way in the NRL after overcoming the Wests Tigers 21-10 at the Sydney Football Stadium, writes Andy Morris.
They started brightly, with a try from Brett Morris inside two minutes, and dominated the match as they scored four tries to two.
Ben Creagh, Ben Hornby and Wendell Sailor all went over before half-time, and when Beau Ryan scored for Wests Tigers it was purely damage limitation.
Wests Tigers scored the only points of the second half, through a Benji Marshall try eight minutes from time, but there was no way back.
The Bulldogs continue to impress, as they shut out the Cowboys before the break and emerged 30-18 winners at ANZ Stadium.
Josh Morris and Bryson Goodwin went over for the Bulldogs, with Hazem El Masri converting both to give the Bulldogs a 12-0 half-time lead.
Greg Eastwood increased the lead with another try, and though Anthony Watts went over for North Queensland they were not really in the contest.
Goodwin scored his second try of the game and Luke Patten also went over, with El Masri converting all the tries, before the Cowboys staged a late and futile rally with tries by Aaron Payne and John Williams.
The Titans made light of their injury problems as they overcame the Warriors 28-12.
The Warriors now look outside bets to make the playoffs after coming out second best at Skilled Park.
Anthony Laffranchi, Kevin Gordon and David Mead scored first-half tries as the Titans led 16-2 at the break.
Another Mead effort and a second from Gordon sealed the deal, although the Warriors did score through Lance Hoaia and Lewis Brown.
The Roosters scored some rare joy as they beat the Sharks 19-12 at the Sydney Football Stadium.
Nathan Stapleton went over to give the Sharks a lead on 16 minutes, and they finished the first half on top when Mitchell Pearce's and Blake Ferguson's tries cancelled each other out.
But tries from Sam Perrett and Shaun Kenny-Dowall were enough to give the Roosters the competition points, as they shut out the Sharks in the second half.
The Raiders beat the Storm 26-16, helped by two tries to Joel Monaghan in the first half.
Monaghan's two tries came three minutes apart midway through the half, with Justin Carney having already put them on top.
Cameron Smith gave the Storm some hope just before the break, but Carney scored his second of the afternoon on 50 minutes.
The Storm would not lie down, and both Greg Inglis and Will Chambers scored tires. But the Raiders had the last word when Bronson Harrison went over in the final minute.
The Eels beat the Broncos 21-14 at Parramatta Stadium on Sunday, having led all the way.
Eric Grothe's 23rd minute try put them ahead, and Joel Reddy was soon over for the second score.
Steve Michaels pulled the Broncos back into it just before half-time, but second-half scores from Krisnan Inu and Daniel Mortimer were enough for the home side. Michaels did score his second try of the game for the Broncos but it was not enough.
The Knights held on for a 25-20 win over the Rabbitohs at EnergyAustralia Stadium, where both sides scored four tries apiece.
Akuila Uate scored first for the home side, but the Rabbitohs went into the sheds 12-6 up when Michael Crocker and Jamie Simpson crossed.
Keith Lulia and Steve Simpson scored tries five minutes apart after the break, with Kurt Gidley maintaining his 100 per cent record with the boot. But though the Knights looked to have the game in the bag, David Fa'alogo and Jamie Simpson scored tries to bring the Rabbitohs right back into it just before the end.
