Win a Share in a Thoroughbread

Wouldn't you like to be trackside, watching a horse you own a share in race to glory?

It's called 'The Sport of Kings', and it's true that some well-known Kings have owned some of our racing greats, but thanks to Betfair's Win a Share in a Horse competition, you have the chance of joining this select group!

All you need to do is use your supreme betting intuition to provide tips on any of three series of Group 1 races this autumn. Should you be shrewd enough in your tipping, you'll find yourself with a 10% share in a promising, unraced 2-year old colt trained by Heath Conners at Caulfield.

Competition details

There are three 10% shares in a 2-year old colt (Mossman x Fame Princess), including training fees for 2010, up for grabs, with a new competition for each share. Each competition encompasses three Group 1 races.

Your task is simple: provide three selections for the Group 1 races specified for each competition. Your selections must be entered 10 minutes prior to the scheduled race time. In order to qualify, you need to also place at least one bet (in one of the Betfair exchange's win or place markets) on one of the races for that particular competition. Once you've made your selection, you cannot change it, so choose wisely!

Selections finishing in the first three placings in the relevant races will earn points for entrants, and the entrant accruing the most points over the three-week period of each competition will be awarded the 10% share in the 2-year old colt.

Points will be allocated as follows:

* If one of your selections in a race finishes first, you will be awarded 3 (three) points;
* If one of your selections in a race finishes second, you will be awarded 2 (two) points, and;
* If one of your selections in a race finishes third, you will be awarded 1 (one) point.

GOOD LUCK!
