Viewed took the Caulfield Cup today with Roman Emperor and Vigor/Daffodil taking 2nd and 3rd respectively.

1st : 1-Viewed
2nd : 7-Roman Emperor
3rd : 17-Vigor
3rd : 14-Daffodil

This probably wasn't a vintage Caulfield cup but there were several good stayers in the race. A lack of horses to drive the initial pace gave, particularly with the loss of Maldivian gave Viewed the chance of a good finish.
