Horse racing the sport of kings

Horse racing betting is one of the oldest betting sports of the world which has been practiced over centuries. It is considered to be one of the favorite sports of the wealthy and richest of the world. If played well, horse racing can be extremely profitable and can help you win a big amount within a few months.

Here are some common kinds of horse racing bets that are known among enthusiasts.

  • Boxed Bet: In this all possible combinations are bet by an individual.
  • Place bet: As the name suggests this is a horse racing bet at a place. The amount is collected only when the horse completes the race winning the first and second place only.
  • Across the board bet: In this type a bet is usually placed on a particular horse to win, a show and also a place. In such a situation the players collects an amount in three ways if the horse on which he bet wins. In case the horse gets the second position, the player wins in two ways and one way only if the horse gets the third place.
  • Parlay or Accumulator: This is known as multiple bet. In this kind of bet the player makes selections on several bets at a time. They take into account the Horse racing odds and depending on it they make the decisions. They mainly work by pressing the first win on the next race that has been selected and this way the bet moves on. However, this is slight tough because all the selections are required to win so that the parlay is won. In case there is a tie situation, or the race stands cancelled or the race is postponed, the parlay is reduced by a selection. If there is a double parlay it becomes a straight bet and if there is a triple parlay it becomes a double. If such a race wins, then the parlay bet can give yield huge benefits.
  • Single bet/Straight bet/Win Bet: These are the most simple and common bets suitable for any starter. You will be required to bet on a winner at certain given odds. You can collect your amount only if the horse you choose finishes first.
  • Combination bet: This is a special bet, when a bet is placed on a combination of horses which includes two to four horses. The horses need to win certain the chosen order so that you qualify for the amount.
