Feizal Rahman

Feizal has been an inspirational member of Betfair's market operations department since January 2007 and, as overlord of politics and specials bets, can often been seen weeping in a dark corner after being subjected to back-to-back episodes of Strictly Come Dancing and The X-Factor.
An avid Arsenal fan, he is by default a lover of the 'beautiful game' and is never happier than when making his relentlessly controversial opinions about it forcefully known to all. Heroes include Zinidine Zidane, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires and, most bizarrely, Manchester United legend Eric Cantona. Modelling himself on the enigmatic Frenchman whilst at school, Feizal frequently indulged in unintelligible poetry and random kung-fu kicks to obnoxious classmates.
Before Betfair, he liked to think of himself as the next Henry Winter and spent valuable time with several national publications, including The Guardian, The Independent, The Times and the rather less prestigious Zoo Magazine. Though having also failed to make it as a pro-punter, Feizal remains only one deerstalker short of being the next John McCririck
