Ed Nicholson

Ed Nicholson has worked within the racing and betting industries since before University - a career that now spans over 22 years.

In a varied career in the industry he has appeared as a betting expert on such diverse TV programmes as Big Brother, Open University, The Big Breakfast and Richard & Judy.

Ed has written regular sports betting columns for Maxim magazine, The Guardian, F1 magazine and has penned over 1,000 football betting columns; recently ghosting for such football legends as Ruud Gullit and Andy Townsend.

Having worked for a spread betting company in City Index; two exchange betting companies in Betfair and WBX; a specific football betting outfit in Premierbet; leading fixed odds company Ladbrokes; multi gaming group 888.com, as well as appearing as a pundit on Sky greyhounds and Attheraces, Ed has experienced many facets of the gambling world – and as he says: “It probably demonstrates that I'm a jack of all trades and master of none!”

Ed regularly appears as a presenter on Betfair Radio 2 and writes a weekly Premiership under/over 2.5 goals column for Betfair.
