Danny Power

Danny has a broad and long career in racing, starting as racing journalist with Southdown Press in 1972. He was chief racing writer for the Sunday Herald and long time senior racing and harness writer for the Sporting Globe, Herald, Sunday Press and Herald Sun. Since 1992 he has worked as racing manager for Lee Freedman (4 years), as a freelance writer and developed the award winning form and analytical racing website Expertform, as well as an extensive period as an on air racing host and form analyst for radio Sport927.
In 2006, Danny joined The Slattery Media Group, as the managing editor and contributing editor for all the racing publications and websites, including the publications The Thoroughbred and Racing In Australia.
