Australia will be the favourites in this game with odds of 1.8...
With Australia on the verge of taking out the ODI series, Andy Morris is expecting England to take a stand and make a solid attempt to turn their fortunes around.
Australia will look to win the seven match ODI series against England when the two sides meet in the fourth ODI at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
They are already 3-0 up in the series and will look to ensure that they continue to carry their momentum forward.
After a strong performance in the Test matches, it is a wonder that the English side has been pushed behind 3-0 in the ODIs. It is not as if the side has played poor cricket, but one gets the sense that the loss of key bowlers in the series has played heavily against them. It started with the absence of James Anderson and Stuart Broad, and the subsequent losses of Graeme Swann and Tim Bresnan has meant that the side is without their four first-choice bowlers.
On the other hand, Australia have had their own injury issues and yet have come out all guns firing. If it was Shane Watson whose big century ensured that the side had won the first game, it was the century by Shaun Marsh and the unbeaten half century by David Hussey that sealed the fate for Australia in the next couple of games.
It is the batting where England has struggled. After the first game where the side could have got to 325 and were restricted to less than 300, the likes of Ian Bell, Andrew Strauss and Kevin Pietersen have not been able to get going and the issue has been augmented by the twin-ducks for Matt Prior.
For the fourth ODI, Australia may not go in with any changes to the line-up other than getting in one of Shaun Tait or Mitchell Johnson - only if they are 100% fit. Otherwise, John Hastings' performance in the fourth ODI should allow him another chance to make it to the playing eleven.
England will welcome the return of Anderson who should replace Chris Woakes but will be hindered by the absence of Swann, who has been ruled out of the series. If Pietersen retains his fitness, he will come into the side while the out-of-form Paul Collingwood will make his way out.
Australia will be the favourites in this game with odds of 1.8 but it would be surprising if England come up with another meek performance in the game. England will go into the game with the odds of 2.22 for their comeback into the series with a win.
