It turns out that if you say something enough times, it might just come true. Goodness knows I said I wanted Kate to go home enough times and last week it finally came true, writes Jayme Jenkins.

Country fans all over Australia are mourning the loss of this woman, but it seems that most people are just happy to see the end of her.

Moving right along, Kate was joined by Stan Walker and James Johnston on the elimination stage, and I think Stan suffered from a similar ailment to Hayley the previous week, in that people simply forgot to vote for him.

Stan did recover well with a spectacular performance of "Hallelujah" and later rounded off the night with another great performance of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". This guy really deserves to win this contest, each week his performances stand out from the rest and he is in a league of his own.

My pick for elimination this week is James Johnston, he is extremely talented, but there is only so many times one person can be up for elimination and survive. Now that we are down to the final five, holding on for another week is becoming harder and harder. James sang "Mercy" and "Use Somebody" and they were possibly his best performances so far, but it is a case of too little, too late.

Nathan Brake has almost gone under the radar in recent weeks. Early in this competition he was a regular on the elimination stage, but a steady improvement in his performance has kept him safe. Unfortunately for Nathan being in the last five, almost guarantees him an elimination spot this week. We have to assume that Hayley and Stan are safe, that just leaves the other three.

Toby Moulton seems to be holding on with all his might. His two performances last week were average, but as always his fans love him and keep voting. Toby is in a unique position of being slightly older than the rest of the other competitors meaning his song choices usually gravitate towards the 90's and that is drawing him a huge following.

I am going to go out on a limb and make my final five elimination predictions.
