Big Brother Betting: It's time to go... Terrence!

Big Brother betting enthusiasts who were barracking for underdog Terrence got a swift, sharp, shock last night when he was evicted from the Big Brother house, writes James Heffield.

The 51-year-old auctioneer, who received 41.7% of the public vote, was up against serial nominee Rory, facing his fourth nomination, and feisty Italian princess Bianca.

Terrence's long-winded stories, dad jokes and constant lectures got on everyone's nerves, but none more so than Brigitte, who after several recent spats with Terrence, sent two nomination points his way last week.

Bianca and Travis also directed two nomination points each at Terrence, while he gave two to Brigitte and one to Alice.

While it's unlikely his departure will leave a big gap in the house, some housemates had a soft spot for Terrence.

Terri admitted that while his constant chatter got a bit much for her during the day, they'd had some enjoyable late night laughs since moving into the kombi van. Ben and Alice also seemed to enjoy the occasional chat with the Perth father of three, and Gold Coast surfer Cherry chose Terrence to join him in the Big Brother cinema as part of Cherry's Friday night games prize.

After a teary final message to housemates, Terrence gifted his $25,000 to fellow over-50 Terri. Terri, available at around $5.10 with Betfair, behind Travis on $2.62, Rory on $3.55 and Alice paying $4.20, was also the recipient of Terrence's eviction hand grenade. The grenade allowed her to move back into the Big Brother house from the kombi she had shared with Terrence for the past week.

Terrence's hand grenade also removed the prized hair straightener from the house, which will leave Brigitte, Bianca and Ben with a lot more time on their hands.

Terri wasn't the only one to return to the Big Brother house on Sunday night. Rima, who left the house in the first week after breaking her leg in this season's first Friday night games, returned to the house shortly after Terrence's departure with a secret mission from Big Brother.

The tiny belly dancer will attempt to convince housemates there is a mole among them - sabotaging tasks and telling tales to Big Brother. There's just one catch, there is no mole. It seems Big Brother is trying to stir up suspicion and mistrust among the housemates. Only time will tell whether Rima is successful.

In another surprise, Big Brother called nominations early this week sparking the housemate's suspicions that a mid-week eviction may be on the cards. In the firing line are Alice, Rory and Bianca, although we're yet to find out who head of house Cherry has used his Friday night games nomination power to save, and who, in turn, will fall into the saved housemate's place.
