New Year's Eve racing tomorrow night at Moonee Valley has attracted eight strong fields with the action kicking off at 6.30pm.

As 2011 comes to a close, there's loads of value to be had at harness racing meets across the country.

The Perth Cup at Ascot headlines Saturday racing this week where the quinella from the C B Cox Stakes a fortnight ago do battle over handicap conditions and 2400 metres.


Kincaple was second in the Cox, but meets winner God Has Spoken three kilograms better off at the weights in the Cup tomorrow.

Emerging three-year-old stayer Westsouthwest takes on a strong field in the New Year's Eve Classic Final and four of the nine runners in the 55 Second Challenge Heat are last-start winners including former Northern Territory sprinter The Soldier, a winner of five from his last eight starts.
