With his astute eye for all things harness-racing, the Trotman brings you his 'Smoken' racing preview for this weekend's meet at Ballarat.

The Ballarat Pacing Cup features the long awaited clash of established champion Smoken Up and budding superstar Sushi Sushi, with both drawn awkwardly to add spice to the event.

Smoken Up has won most of his Grand Circuit races this season, and Sushi Sushi has 16-straight wins under his belt.

Trotman also suggests that young Kiwi star The Gold Ace should not be overlooked as some chance to score if the other two declare war up front.
