If you have been following Brad Thompson's French Open tips, why wouldn't you stick with Sara Errani to pull off an upset in the women's final tonight?

After suggesting Errani at attractive odds in the final 16 and quarter final matches, followers copped the tip for another upset over Stosur and also the three sets in 'number of set' betting for the clash in the semi-final.

Errani, the diminutive Italian, has been the revelation of the tournament in Paris, stamped by earning a surprise berth in the final against Maria Sharapova.

Errani has simply relished the clay surface at Roland Garros, outlining her form by beating Stosur to show her prior wins over well-credentialled opponents were no fluke.

Admittedly, Stosur was far from her best, but Errani was impressive in her shot-making and the fashion in which she kept her composure to seal the match.

In fact, it was Errani's persistence and smarts around the court that saw her through.

If there are any flaws in Sharapova's shot-play, or she begins to feel the pressures of expectation as a short-priced favourite, Errani will find a way to exploit it and launch her claims at an upset.

It's a monumental task that Errani faces, however, with Sharapova in sublime form, dropping just one set all tournament.

But after falling at the final hurdle to Li Na in last year's French Open final, Sharapova is simply expected to win at tight odds of (1.28).

If the Russian feels the pinch of expectation, Errani can cause a major upset, or at least take a set off Sharapova st nice odds.
