Super Rugby: Game on!
The Blues...should have enough firepower to edge out the Crusaders.
With Round One of Super Rugby kicking off this weekend, Matt Burke has found some close match-ups to start the season.
Blues v Crusaders
This game is a repeat of round one last year where the Blues got the money with some bold captaincy by Keven Mealamu.
This year will be the same.
The Blues have recruited well in Weepu (not bad if you can start him on the bench) and Nonu (who is not playing), and should have enough firepower to edge out the Crusaders, who are still waiting to get their captain and playmaker back from injury.
One unit for the Blues
Bulls v Sharks
A mass exodus from the Bulls leaves them quite thin in the representative ranks.
Pierre Spies will try everything to rally the troops at home but it will be the Sharks who will come out on top with the strength of their forwards.
The brothers Du Plessis own the front row, Deysel and Kankowski will be too quick and mobile around the field stealing the ball. Pat Lambie at 10 will control the game and kick all his goals. An away win for the Sharks.
