A week later, Beejay Sunrise had plenty in hand over Big Spirit, winning by five lengths.

In a competitive field, Beejay Sunrise is the one Andy Morris will support at Wentworth Park on Friday in what shapes up as a competitive heat of the Macro Meats Stake (race seven, 8.40).

This should be one of the best races of the night, with a number of recent winners in the field.

Handler Paul Parkinson will feel that Hot Mint has good claims out of box six, following an impressive win last time out. He has been no worse than second in his last three races and will definitely have some followers.

However, David Robertson has every reason to believe Beejay Sunrise can score from box eight.

He has won his last two outings, both at Nowra over 520m, and held off Go Jessie's Girl by the narrowest of margins on July 24. A week later, he had plenty in hand over Big Spirit, winning by five lengths.

These two will likely fight it out at the line, providing they can catch Watta Harmony starting from box one.

Margaret Greer, who owns and handles her, saw her win very impressively over this track and distance last Friday when beating Stewards Trial by eight lengths, and a similar effort this time could leave the rest chasing shadows.
