The Roosters have won five of the past six clashes between the sides at the SFS, and the Bulldogs require just one try to tally 200 scored at the venue

Meetings between the Roosters and the Bulldogs have generally been close, and with this in mind ahead of Saturday's clash at the SFS, Andy Morris believes their next meeting should be no exception.

The teams have played each other 157 times, and heading into this one the Roosters lead the series 77 to 75.

But the Bulldogs won the last meeting 24-20 in Round three, and they will have plenty of backers.

They are not without their injury worries, though, with five-eighth Kris Keating, hooker Michael Ennis and forwards Martin Taupau and David Stagg all missing this weekend.

Their golden-point win over the Eels will have lifted Canterbury's spirits as they went into the game with no form yet produced a heroic defensive performance, particularly in the first half.

The Roosters played well in defeat to the Tigers last weekend, but they have nothing to play for now so it might be hard for them to raise themselves for this one.

They are capable of winning, if they can produce a similar effort while taking more of their opportunities, but they come up against a team who are focused on the finals.

The Bulldogs have had a tough season, yet in valiantly overcoming Parramatta they proved they still have the chance to turn this game against the Roosters into a success under caretaker coach Jim Dymock.

This round, they will field the same starting 13 from last week, with Chris Armit and Corey Payne displacing Taupau and Stagg on the bench.

The Roosters have won five of the past six clashes between the sides at the SFS, and the Bulldogs require just one try to tally 200 scored at the venue.

You can back the Bulldogs at 1.9 in match odds betting while the Roosters are 2.09.
