ST GEORGE-ILLAWARRA (v Wests Tigers)
2.5 units at match odds of $1.35 or better
The Dragons have been in a major slump of late, collecting only five premiership points in their last eight encounters.
In consecutive weeks they have blown big leads against opponents unlikely to make the eight, with coach Wayne Bennett publicly lambasting his side's attitude after the South Sydney loss.
With the finals fast approaching, the Dragons are going to need to click soon and that should be this week against rivals the Wests Tigers.
The Dragons have won all four matches against the Tigers since Wayne Bennett took the reins at the club and Bennett does have a decided advantage against Sheens, losing only 10 of 40 against the Tigers' boss.
Expect the Dragons to knuckle down and grind out an impressive win against the Tigers.

CANTERBURY (v North Queensland)
1.5 units at match odds of $1.70 or better
It is tough to get too excited about the Bulldogs at present.
They have been on the worse side of disgraceful at times, winning only three of their last twelve, including three losses from their last four at home.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, are flying high, sitting on the verge of a top-four berth. They have won three of four without Johnathan Thurston and have won both road matches over that time. They look like they are nearing a loss though and the Dogs do seem to have improved somewhat.
The Bulldogs have won the last three against the Cowboys and with their season swinging on this match, they should lift and turn away a good Cowboys unit.

NEW ZEALAND (v Brisbane)

The Warriors are back on song.
After a period of tumult as chatter grew that Ivan Cleary would be leaving for Penrith, resulting in four straight losses, they are firing on all cylinders again. New Zealand have now won four straight, allowing an average of only 11 points over that time. In those four games, the Warriors have also ran in 25 tries.
The Broncos have won four straight at home but New Zealand have had the edge in recent outings, winning four of six against Brisbane. Both results last year were big wins to the Warriors.
The upset looks to be on here.
