Christian Sprenger and Brenton Rickard produced outstanding performances to progress to the final and I think both will acquit themselves well.

Dual Olympic gold medallist Michael Klim believes Australia's brilliant 100m freestyle relay team is unbeatable and will add to our gold medal tally on night two of the swimming finals at London 2012.

Speaking in his role as Betfair's swimming analyst for the London Games, Klim suggests punters take the price currently being offered on Betfair.

"On paper, we simply can't be beaten.

"We have the two James who are the two best swimmers over this distance in the world, and I've made no secret of my belief that James Magnussen will dominate the meeting.

"We also have a former world record holder in Eamon Sullivan and Matthew Targett, who might be one of the fastest starters in the world in this event. It is an amazing team."

And Klim happily notes that the "(1.56) on Betfair is a bloody good price."

MEN'S 100m BREASTSTROKE

Christian Sprenger and Brenton Rickard produced outstanding performances to progress to the final and I think both will acquit themselves well.

I know the Betfair punters believe Sprenger as the (8.60) third Betfair favourite will finish ahead of Rickard(30.0) but Olympic finals are strange beasts and Brenton has the experience. He certainly isn't a $30 chance!

The favourite Cameron Van Der Burgh (1.91) looks hard to beat but he has a questionable record in major finals. He's also better known as a 50-metre swimmer and I think he's a lay prospect at his current odds.

Japan's Kosuke Kitajima swam slowly in the heats and semi but he managed to clock a 58.60sec swim a couple of months back, and should he produce that again, he will most likely win @ Betfair odds of (4.30) .

WOMEN'S 100m BUTTERFLY

Alicia Coutts is very much a confidence swimmer, and after winning a gold medal on night one, she must be on top of the world.

She's in great form and I believe she will certainly medal, if not challenge for the gold. At Betfair odds of (11.50) she's enormous value.

America's Dana Vollmer has been brilliant so far but unless you are an absolute champion, you shouldn't be @ odds of (1.26) for an Olympic final. The pressure is huge.

Sarah Sjoestroem of Sweden looks to be swimming well also @ Betfair odds of (7.20).

I give Alicia a real chance of causing an upset here.
