All in all, I’m expecting a close match, at least four sets, possibly five and I give Federer the slightest of edges, particularly given how he won the Wimbledon final so well.
In a Wimbledon final re-match for the Mens tournament tennis gold medal at Olympics 2012, Peter Marcato expects the Brits to miss out again...
1-Roger Federer (SUI) V 3- Andy Murray (GBR)
Here we have a repeat of the men's final from Wimbledon, the decider here to be played over five sets also
It was Murray who made the early running in that final before Federer wore him down. The key for Andy is to keep Federer pinned on his backhand side, then take advantage of the short ball. The Brit is feeling pretty confident enough on serve and around the court.
There's a chance it might rain so the roof could be closed, favouring Federer, who loves playing indoors. I wonder if the long semi-final against Del Potro could be a factor but the day off will help. The key for Federer is to get plenty of serves back into play. He has a great serve and all-around game but the return is crucial.

So, Federer for the win but it will be very close.
However, for some betting value here, consider tiebreaks along with a four or five set match bet.
8-Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) V 2-Novak Djokovic (SRB)
I think there will be a bit of a let-down factor with Del Potro in this one: getting so close to the gold medal match but going down in a long epic.
Djokovic hasn't quite been at the peak of his powers but can still pull out a big match. He'll be desperate to win a bronze medal for his country.
The head-to-head sits in his favour and I expect the Serbian player to win in straight sets.
