Geoff Ogilvy...deserves a Gold Jacket and will perform well.
The Victoria Golf Club, home of the JB Were Masters, is looking an absolute treat, which Mark Allen predicts will be perfect for scoring.
The greens won't be super quick because of the Australian Open walk off back in 2002. The event just can't risk super fast greens or the embarrassment that followed THAT memorable (albeit for the wrong reasons) 2002 Australian Open.
Luke Donald is the World #1 and has played unbelievable golf in the last 18 months, but will falter at Victoria this week.
It will be more of a walk of relief during the four rounds of the Masters than anything else for him after he made history by leading the US Tour and European Tours Order of Merit in the same year.
Lay away on Luke Donald.
Ian Poulter may well be treating this week as his Christmas party also.
The flamboyant Englishman can play any course but it's been a long year for him also, so he's another you can lay for as much as you like.
Geoff Ogilvy is my pick of the week while playing at his home course. He deserves a Gold Jacket and will perform well.
James Nitties is my smokey. He holes putts at home and always seems to play well here first-up.
