The Suns are 10-14 but have won their last two.

Nick Shiambouros helps you choose which side of the handicaps you should be on in three upcoming NBA games (this morning AEDT).

Cleveland Cavaliers v Miami Heat

The Cavs are a respectable 9-13 for the season. It has been a long road back for this franchise following the departure of LeBron James to Miami in the summer of 2010.

Rookie sensation Kyrie Irving is having an outstanding season for Cleveland and is averaging a team high 18.1 points per game. Irving is rapidly growing in stature and will make plenty of noise in this game.

The Heat are 18-6 and have been virtually unbeatable at home. On Sunday they beat Toronto 95-89 with a solid display of basketball.

It is difficult to see past Miami in this one but I think the -13 handicap could be difficult to overcome. The Cavaliers will not go down without a fight and should be backed with the handicap at around [2.0].

Charlotte Bobcats v Boston Celtics

The Bobcats are 3-21 for the season and have one road victory to their name. They have the worst record in basketball and are coming off a 95-89 defeat at Phoenix on Saturday.

Kemba Walker and Reggie Williams are playing hard but they have had little support from the rest of the rotation. Charlotte needs to make some trades in a hurry to stop the bleeding.

The Celtics are 13-10 and appear to have turned the corner. They have won eight out of the last nine and are playing some outstanding basketball. Boston is playing with a lot more intensity on the defensive end of the floor which is vital to the success of this team.

The Celtics should run up the score against the struggling Bobcats. They are a far superior team in every department and should easily cover the -14 handicap.

Phoenix Suns v Milwaukee Bucks

The Suns are 10-14 but have won their last two. Veteran point-guard Steve Nash continues to play at a high level and is averaging 15 points, along with 10 assists per game.

Phoenix has struggled a little this season but they have an outstanding record against Milwaukee. The Suns have won 36 out of the last 41 meetings with Milwaukee, which is a telling statistic, to say the least.

The Bucks are 10-13 and have lost their last two by wide margins. They appear to have lost their way and could be vulnerable against the resurgent Suns.

Point-guard Brandon Jennings leads the Bucks in scoring averaging just under 20 points per game .Jennings, though could only manage five points against Phoenix last month.

I think the Suns represent outstanding value with the +7 handicap and must be backed at around [2.0].They have owned Milwaukee in the past few seasons and I fully expect them to cover the spread at the very least.

Recommended Wagers Tuesday

Back Cleveland Cavaliers at [2.0] with advertised handicap +13
Back Boston Celtics at [1.9] with advertised handicap -14
Back Phoenix Suns at [2.0] with advertised handicap +7
