The Brewers won the NL Central with a record of 96-66. First baseman Prince Fielder and outfielder Ryan Braun should provide plenty of offence for Milwaukee. They scored a combined 71 home runs during the regular season and are bound to add to that tally in this series.

Yovani Gallardo will start for the Brewers in Game 1. This right-hander has a record of 17-10 and an ERA of 3.52. Gallardo is in sparkling form. In his final three regular season starts he has 36 strikeouts and has lowered his ERA to just 1.77.

This is not an easy series to predict. Both teams are evenly matched but i think the Diamondbacks are worth an interest at [2.66] in the Series Winner market.

St Louis Cardinals v Philadelphia Phillies
The Cardinals won the NL Wild Card after beating the Houston Astros 8-0 on the last day of the regular season.

Edwin Jackson will have the pitching assignment for St Louis in Game 1. This right-hander has a record of 12-9 and an ERA of 3.79. Jackson has been pitching very well recently and gave up just two runs in seven innings against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday.

The great Albert Pujols is the backbone of the St Louis offence. This superstar has averaged close to .300 for eleven straight seasons. He will give his all against the mighty Phillies.

The Phillies won the NL East with a record of 102-60. Philadelphia have been nothing short of sensational all season long and are deserving favourites to win the World Series at [2.9].

The Phillies have the finest rotation in baseball. Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels and Row Oswalt are all world class pitchers in their own right and will be very hard to beat regardless of the opposition.

Cliff Lee or Roy Halladay will start Game 1 on Saturday. Lee has a record of 17-8 and an ERA of just 2.4.This lefty has been almost unbeatable this season and is coming in to this series in cracking form.

Roy Halladay has a record of 19-6 and an ERA of 2.35.This right-hander is having an incredible season and will be very tough to beat.

Philadelphia are currently priced at [1.32] in the Series Winner market. They should be priced at around [1.09] in my opinion.
