Betfair backers are rejoicing today after Ben Crane won this morning's McGladrey Classic on the PGA Tour after being backed at a staggering $990 in the final round.
Crane started the day five shots behind the lead and fell even further back after starting his final round with seven straight pars.
But from seven shots off the pace, with eleven holes remaining, the American rallied with eight birdies in ten holes to force a playoff with Webb Simpson.

The feverish trading continued when Crane shortened to $9.80 as he entered the clubhouse at 15 under and then subsequently shortened to $2.50 barely two minutes before he won the tournament.
