Adam Gilchrist made a match-winning return to the side at the expense of Shaun Marsh last time out and I don't foresee any major changes to the team here.

In a match where there is everything to play for, Jaymes Monte previews Delhi's match with Kings XI Punjab.

Kings XI Punjab

The Kings XI kept their play-off hopes alive with a convincing win over Chennai Super Kings last time out and know that a win here would give them a fighting chance of a top-four finish. Adam Gilchrist made a match-winning return to the side at the expense of Shaun Marsh last time out and I don't foresee any major changes to the team here.

Delhi Daredevils

With qualification and a top-two finish all but secure Delhi opted to rest Morne Morkel and leave out the 'unwell' Virender Sehwag in their last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chris Gayle duly punished their weakened bowling attack, although they made a good fist of chasing down a mammoth total in reply. I expect they'll be keen to rediscover that winning feeling ahead of the play-offs and so anticipate that Morkel and Sehwag will return here.

Venue and Conditions

A green tinge to the Dharamsala wicket played to the strengths of Punjab's swing bowlers with Gilchrist deploying a couple of slips throughout a large part of the first innings. That said Gilchrist himself wasn't troubled by the conditions as Kings XI chased down their target with a minimum amount of fuss.

Match Odds

Kings XI's pace attack looked lethal on this pitch just a few days ago and therefore they have to be the value bet @ Betfair odds of 2.46 for the win.

Top Kings XI Batsman

Gilchrist scored a century on this ground last season, and could easily have got another on Thursday had he been chasing a bigger total. There were no signs of the hamstring injury that has kept him out for the best part of this season and he can be backed at 4.0 to top score here.

Top Delhi Batsman

Given Punjab's threat with the new ball it could pay to look further down Delhi's order. Ross Taylor rediscovered some form against RCB last time out and looks a value bet at 7.0 here.
