Nahrain was highly progressive, winning first four starts, notably Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp.
Clinical completed a hat-trick of listed race wins at Dundalk in 2011 and was better than ever on return when beating Joviality in Group 3 at Epsom. Ran poorly next time, though, and bit to find in this grade.
Izzi Top finished third in last year's Oaks and has won 4 Group races on the bounce since, including 4-runner Pretty Polly at the Curragh last month. Clearly thriving and warrants plenty of respect.
Lay Time was progressive last term, landing 1m listed race at Sandown on final run and better than ever when third in Windsor Forest at Royal Ascot. Flopped in Falmouth next time, but this trip promises to suit.
Nahrain was highly progressive, winning first four starts, notably Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp. Cracking second in Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf after, and likely to leave her reappearance run well behind here.
Sea Of Heartbreak was a smart and consistent mare last term, winning listed/Group 2 events (1½m). However, arrives with plenty to prove after two disappointing runs this year, and this a tough race to bounce back in.
Timepiece had an excellent 4-y-o campaign, including a Group 1 success in the Falmouth at Newmarket. Well below best final 2011 start and on both runs this term, however, and opposed on that basis.
The Fugue is a smart filly that built on Guineas fourth when landing Musidora 10 days later. Unlucky when third in Oaks before possibly finding Ribblesdale coming too soon next time. Should be fresher here.
Was showed marked improvement when landing the Oaks at Epsom, proving a neck too strong for Shirocco Star. Conditions against her in Irish Oaks next time and dangerous to dismiss back down in trip.

John Gosden holds a strong hand, saddling both Izzi Top and The Fugue, with William Buick opting for the former.
However, Nahrain was highly progressive last term and is fancied to trump them both
