Heston Bale has three runs so far this month and showed in the most recent outing last week that he’s in fine form.
Andy Morris will be watching out for Heston Bale in Thursday's Rapidvite Blood Booster Final at Sandown.
He goes looking for a sixth win in 10 outings, with plenty of money riding on him (race 6, 8:52).
Heston Bale has had three runs so far this month and showed in the most recent outing last week that he's in fine form. He had a length in hand over Gordon Bale over this track and distance, justifying his favourite's tag.
Gordon Bale renews the battle here, though he's not sure to like the draw in box one. He was a good winner on 6 November when beating Flip Bale, but that was from the outside draw.
Graeme Bate, who trains Gordon Bale, isn't short of chances with three entrants, including Carol Allen, which starts from box two. If she can reproduce the form she showed at the Meadows recently, when beating Hafren Bale by nearly eight lengths, she cannot be discounted.
There will be plenty of support for Bate's comparative veteran Stack 'Em Flat, which has won his last two including a 2.25 length win over Take Me Home last week.
Jason Thompson knows how to get the best out of his dogs, and McDoom is an interesting prospect in box four. He beat Carol Allen last time out, so he could well be in with a good shout.
