Can Vote For Lust win his Maiden at start 84?

Currently rated the 'worst horse in Australia', nine-year-old gelding Vote For Lust will this afternoon attempt to break his maiden status at his 84th lifetime start in race five at Gawler at 3.28pm (coverage on SKY1).

Following an Australian-first sponsorship announced last week, the horse will race in Betfair's yellow and black 'King of the Bush' colours.

For every Black Caviar, there are hundreds of horses like Vote For Lust, without which racing would grind to a halt.

Betfair is committed to supporting grassroots racing, and when we saw John Castleman was continuing to campaign a horse will this remarkable record, we jumped in to support him.

The colours he wears today were previously reserved for the leader in our 'King of the Bush' series and we'd love to see him carry them over the line for a long-overdue win.
