Beer Assassin (heat two, box seven), Gatt’s other contender in the Distance series, has won his past three starts over the half-mile here.
Those in the know are backing Thirlmere mentor Mark Gatt whenever he has a contender.
He's really hot right now, and that's great news for traders ahead of Saturday's racing at Wentworth Park.
Gatt saw his exciting sprinter Oaks Road win the Group Three Megastar on Thursday night.
Now, for both Oaks Road and Gatt, it's off to the National Sprint and Distance headquarters.
Two National Distance heats and four Sprint heats will be run and won at headquarters, with Gatt boasting two leading entrants in each division.
Mr Meana, who is out of box three in the first of the Distance series heats, is well worth a look. He won his first two 720m contests at Glebe in quick times and was most recently runner-up to Jason Mackay's Zipping Lad last Friday night.
He gets the chance for a spot of revenge here, and could well pull it off.

Oaks Road, the son of Spiral Nikita and Paws of Thunder heroine Leprechaun Pace, passed his first test in Group company with flying colours.
His litter brother Things Missing, in heat two, box one of the Sprint qualifiers, has also posted sensational time at Glebe. Last Saturday night he ran a blistering best of night 29.68s in defeating another leading Nationals' contender in the John Finn-prepared Prince Diablo.
