Betfair is delighted to announce the launch of the Forum Beta - the new, exciting online arena for customers to chat to each other, read dynamic content and learn more about betting.

As the world's biggest betting community, it's vital that you, our customers, have the chance to share your opinions.

Our team has worked hard and studied feedback to create a product that suits your needs and that also enriches your experience with Betfair.

The Forum Beta marks a significant stage in the evolution of the services we provide.

We know that some users will want to continue using the more basic experience - Forum Classic - so we will give users the choice between Classic and Beta. We will provide a link to allow users to switch back and forth between the two experiences. Our hope is that users will try the Beta and decide to stay due to the enhanced functionality.

Forum Beta is bulging with innovative features that we believe you will find revelatory:

• Search - Find users, forum posts, blogs
• Profile Page - Personal hub, activity feed, access to messages, blog posts, contacts, photos
• Blogs - Create blogs or read blogs created by others
• Photo Gallery - Photos can be used in forum posts and blogs
• Private Messaging - Send messages to other users
• My Favourites - Bookmarks for forum categories, topics, and blogs
• Online indicator - know when people are online
• Blocking Users - hide all content from select users
• Report Abuse - report inappropriate content

The new advanced search tool allows you to look up discussion, users and blogs, so you'll be able to keep on top of the latest developments when the blogs are buzzing.

This is the ideal place for you to express yourself, forge connections with other Betfair regulars and organise your betting interests. Dialogue between those in the Betfair community is crucial to a warm and engaging forum culture. We want you to have a voice, so speak your mind on the forum and write your own personal blog as well as reading the thoughts of others.

If there's a fellow user you want to have an in depth discussion with, you'll be able to send direct, private messages. There will also be an online indicator that lets you know when other users are at their PC.

As for announcing yourself to the Betfair community, you can even upload pictures to liven up your profile.

Given that this is a Beta, we will continue to make improvements over the coming weeks and months based on feedback that we receive from users, and we will invite all your comments via the Site Feedback area so that we can make sure we deliver what you want and need.
