Newcastle's swift-settling January buy has been a hero for this column and with figures as strong as those mentioned above, there's no reason to abandon him in the match poised to define his side's season. The Senegalese striker has delivered doubles on three of his last four away appearances.

Djibril Cisse has played seven games for QPR and either scored (five games) or been sent off (two games) in each of them

QPR's Cisse has had just as big an impact on his team's fortunes, although as this Opta insight shows, it hasn't been all good unlike his namesake. The enigmatic Frenchman is the reason that the Hoops start the final day outside the bottom three though, and three of his goals have come on the road.

Stoke v Bolton

On recent evidence, the Croatian forward will be cast as a super sub at the Britannia Stadium. He is used to making an impact off the bench however, and indeed one of the strikes referenced by Opta came in an 11-minute cameo. Klasnic is Bolton's top scorer with eight league goals in only 15 starts.

Tottenham v Fulham

Clint Dempsey has either scored or assisted 53% of Fulham's league goals this season, only Robin van Persie has a higher ratio (56%)
