A festive weekend awaits punters with the double treat of metropolitan racing on Christmas Eve and excellent Boxing Day races across the country on Monday.

Let's Be Happy will look to continue her remarkable run of wins in heat two of the Summer Championship at Sandown on Saturday.

A winner of her last four starts in increasingly strong grade, the mare is also entered for the Lord Stakes at Mornington on Tuesday and will be a top chance in whichever race she contests.

The Christmas Stakes at Caulfield on Monday has attracted a great class of summer sprinters. Locally-trained runners Mr Make Believe, Shout Out Loud, and Second Effort each resume from a break in the listed race against a number of runners in top form.

International racing takes centre stage on Monday night where two of the world's best jumpers, Kauto Star and Long Run, continue their rivalry in the grade one King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on a day that also features the Christmas Hurdle and Feltham Novices Chase - both grade one races filled with top quality jumpers.
