A winner in six of her 13 starts, Cee Anna Rose has only actually missed out on the first three on one occasion, so I think we should forgive her a sixth place at Sandown last month behind Witch Fantasy.
Punters are often wary of a greyhound with a poor run last time out, but that isn't worrying Andy Morris when Cee Anna Rose returns to Ballarat on Wednesday.
She's one of the obvious choices on the card, in the first heat of the Tabsportsbet Great Chase over 450m (race 3, 7:37).
A winner in six of her 13 starts, she has only actually missed out on the first three on one occasion, so I think we should forgive her a sixth place at Sandown last month behind Witch Fantasy.
This will be her fifth outing at this trip at Ballarat, and she's already won three times as well as winning back-to-back efforts at The Meadows over 525m.
Considering her nearest rival in the betting market will be Neytiri, which has disappointed three times in her last four starts, this looks a good chance to make some easy money.
The same could be said in the next heat (race 4, 8:02), where Adulterous is set to start as a short-priced favourite.
He won on his only outing over this track/distance last time out, beating Instant Bale by 4.50 lengths, and has five wins from seven races.
Rodionova, which has won four times in 17 outings, but has never tackled this trip here, could be the main danger.
