Saints stumble

It’s all up for grabs here – St Kilda will guarantee a finals berth if they win, while North have to win both their last two games and hope other results fall their way.

Disappointingly for Andy Morris, St Kilda have done their best in the past fortnight to undo the rest of the season's good work.

After six consecutive wins, the Saints looked certainties to make the finals, but back-to-back defeats to the Magpies and Swans have left them in trouble again.

They will hope captain Nick Riewoldt is fit to face North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium this Saturday, after the forward took a knock to the knee last week.

Justin Koschitzke and Zac Dawson are also back after missing the game against Sydney with illness.

The Kangaroos beat the Dockers last round by a massive 98-point margin. Having just about kept their finals hopes alive, they know they need a big effort again this weekend.

These two sides met just eight weeks ago in Round 15 when the Saints triumphed by nine points. St Kilda were always ahead, but only just held on as the Roos kept them scoreless in the last quarter.

The Kangas caused a major upset when they won the Round 21 clash in 2008 when St Kilda were sitting atop the ladder.

If you want to back them again here, they are at 2.14 in match odds betting, with the Saints at 1.86.
