Sitting out a week means Geelong will be refreshed and prepared to kick on towards the Grand Final.
Andy Morris is fairly sure it all looks good for Geelong to win their 30th consecutive home game this weekend against the Swans.
They have already won in Sydney this year, by 27 points at the SCG in round 4, and last time these teams met at Skilled Stadium the Cats kicked 10 more goals than their rivals.
Geelong have lost Nathan Vardy to a hip injury, with Mitch Brown also injured and Cam Mooney suspended. But there are four Cats ready to return, including Matthew Scarlett and Darren Milburn.
Last time out was a comparative failure by Geelong - they didn't even register three figures against Adelaide and only won by 11 points. But you can't really blame them after some incredible performances that had seen them kick 66 goals in their previous two games.
Sitting out a week means they will be refreshed and prepared to kick on towards the Grand Final.
Sydney bounced back from disappointing losses to the Bombers and Tigers to beat St Kilda by 15 points at ANZ Stadium last week.
They should finish in the top eight, but whether they're capable of winning in Geelong is a different matter.
The Cats have beaten Sydney in their last nine meetings, and are 1.08 in match odds betting to do so again, while the Swans can be backed at 12.0.
