Over 4000 punters from 23 countries had a bet matched on the 'overall winner market,' won by Collingwood's Dane Swan.

Punters from as far and wide as Cyprus, Finland, Ukraine and Jamaica bet on the Brownlow on Betfair, with 97% of Betfair customers betting on the Brownlow being Australian.

* $1.35m was matched in Betfair's winner market.

* $1.2m was matched prior to the count, with around $135,000 traded "in-play" or as polling was underway.

* 110 individual AFL players were the subject of pre-count bets on Betfair.

* 11 players were the subject of in-play bets.

* The top 15 players - including Swan, Chris Judd, Scott Pendlebury, Matt Priddis and Lance Franklin - accounted for 91.3% of the total amount matched in Betfair's Brownlow winner market.

* Judd ($232,000), Pendlebury ($72,000), Swan ($58,000) and Adam Goodes ($57,000) accounted for 38%, 12%, 10% and 10% of the total market volume respectively.

* Judd was matched at a pre-count high of $13.50 and a low of $1.59; Pendlebury a high of $30; Swan a high of $42; and Goodes $75.

* Swan and Pendlebury accounted for 85% - $57,000 of $67,000 - of money invested in-play on Betfair.
