The Saints have won eight of their last ten, with their only two losses to premiership front-runners Collingwood and Geelong. Ross Lyon's team has also won five straight at the Docklands.
Nick Tedeschi's hot tips for this round of the AFL.
ST KILDA (v Fremantle)
3 units at match odds of $1.10 or better
The Saints are getting home like Kingston Town at present.
After a dreadful start to the season, St Kilda are up to seventh on the ladder, overtaking Fremantle last week with their win over the Suns and following the Dockers' loss to Hawthorn.

With Aaron Sandilands still sidelined, it is tough to see Fremantle getting close to St Kilda.

SYDNEY (v Essendon)
1.5 units at match odds of $1.75 or better
The Bombers have been wildly inconsistent this year and appear to be in a downturn after back-to-back floggings at the hands of Carlton and Collingwood.
There is no doubt that both the Blues and Pies are much stronger teams but the second-half fade-outs have to be a major worry for James Hird. Also a concern is the long injury list that includes skipper Jobe Watson.
The Swans have won 7 of 10 against the Bombers and they have lost only one of three in Melbourne this year, making them the safer play in this one.

BRISBANE LIONS (v Adelaide)
2 units at match odds of $1.60 or better
The Crows have had a terrible season, one that saw them recently fire beloved coach Neil Craig when it was apparent the club did not want to pull the trigger.
Their most damning statistic I would suggest though is their winless season interstate. The Crows have gone 0-7 when on the road, their average losing margin being 61.83 in their last six interstate.
The Lions have won three of their last five against the Crows, including a 40-point win at Football Park earlier this year and should win this and win it well despite their long list of injuries.
