The Kangaroos had elements of their play that were impressive against Sydney, so they must be favourites and can be backed at 1.69 in match odds betting.

Andy Morris sits with both North Melbourne and Adelaide in not having much confidence going into their clash this weekend.

The Kangaroos are 14th on the ladder after the one-point loss to the Swans at Etihad Stadium last weekend.

They have only two wins from nine games, and once again against Sydney they showed that they struggle in front of goal.

The Crows looked good a fortnight ago against Collingwood, and must have really fancied their chances of beating Brisbane last time out.

But they were beaten badly by the Lions, and that must have affected morale during the week.

No wonder coach Neil Craig was furious after last week's game, calling his players "immature".

This is a battle of two teams who must be thinking, at this point, that they have already too much ground to make up to reach the top eight.

In the circumstances, it could come down to which club can raise themselves for the task in hand. Craig will be desperately hoping his words have had the right effect - it's difficult to gauge at this point, they could either man up or be carrying resentment.
